Yesterday, an announcement from Toyota provided an excellent example of these factors delivering benefits to our local economy.
Following the commitment they made last year to invest £240 million in upgrading the Burnaston plant, Toyota have announced that the latest generation of their Auris hatchback will be built at the plant.
Toyota is one of our flagship local companies, and this is great news not only for the staff working at Burnaston but also for the local economy and the local buy-to-let market!!
