Infinity Park have launched their £12m iHub centre. A new manufacturing focused innovation and technology park, which has Enterprise Zone status.

The centre is designed to provide flexible workspace for start-ups, early stage businesses and established high growth SMEs hoping to establish themselves, or expand their role in the aerospace, rail and automotive supply chains.

Infinity park is between Sinfin and Chellaston, it is very close to the Rolls-Royce headquarters, within 15 minutes of Bombardier and Toyota, and within 30 minutes of JCB.

The new space boasts 18 high specification offices and 14 workshop units.

The development has also opened a multi purpose 'heart space' which is ideal for events, meetings and conferences for tenants and non-tenants. The space can cater for up to 150 people and has already been utilised by a number of high profile clients, including the launch of the University of Derby’s new ‘Innovation through Collaboration’ programme.

Councillor Martin Rawson, Deputy Leader of Derby City Council said: "The aim of the iHub is to encourage open innovation practices that provide a platform for strengthening supply chains and supporting company growth. Our vision is that it becomes the National Centre for Supply Chain Innovation in Transport Engineering by 2020".

As the centre piece of Infinity Park, iHub is part of the Connect Derby managed workspace scheme.
